Below is the latest medal tally for the 2010 Winter Olympics that is ongoing in Canada right now. Don’t be surprised if you won’t find the Philippines in the list. There is no winter for us.

(Oooops, why can’t I embed the code?)

The only athlete I know in these games is Shaun White, the U.S. Snowboarder who ruled the Halfpipe two Olympics in a row. Watch this 2006 video below, and you’d be amazed of what he can do.

(Again, I can’t embed the you tube code. Just click on this: Shaun White Amazing 2006 Olympics performance)

Yesterday I played badminton like crazy.  We were in this court in Alabang wherein they have this M-W-F queuing courts from 7pm to closing. I brought an officemate with me so that at least I have somebody to talk to in case the other players are snobs. But they’re alright. A lot of them are of 2XL sizes too and I can just play around with my smashes and drop shots.

Today, my knees complained and my aching body tortured me that I woke up at 12nn even though I slept at 1 am.  This can’t be the sporty Ceblogger. I had my brunch again. So far, the farthest distance I went to the last three hours are from my bed to the bathroom. And I haven’t even taken a bath.

Wifey called up. She’d been to places already. Shame on me. My fingers did all the sports action today in ninja warz and in uploading some pics to my long lost and lonely friendster account. I also checked my blogs. No special things happening except for my AC Milan vs Inter Milan preview and prediction. Tomorrow, 24th, is the day when all at Milan stop to witness the football derby. Oh how I wish I have cable TV right now. My new 22-inch LCD TV is still sitting idly, unused for more than a week already.

Ah, life! This weekend in Manila is getting very very boring. I’d love to play badminton in Makati today but my knees. Oh, my knees! Sporty Ceblogger is just in my dreams.

I am gonna watch Chelsea vs Manchester United live online a few hours from now. Those two teams are my favorite, though I am more of a Chelsea fan.

With the departure of Ronaldo, the Red Devils is kind a different in form. If you don’t know who Ronaldo is, then you must be from Mars. Kidding aside, Ronaldo is one of the best, if not the best soccer player in the world today. Just a few months ago, Real Madrid brought him from United with a record breaking amount of cash — £80 million that is. Whew!

Yeah, I know. It was such a big loss for Manchester United and the English Premier League as a whole. The kid is really very good. He has excellent dribbling skills and when he shoots, goalies will freeze in panic. I’m gonna miss the guy alright.

Now for Chelsea. I became a Chelsea fan six years ago because of their media-darling coach Jose Mourinho. The Special One (yeah, that’s what he calls himself) brought Chelsea trophies one after another. The bar was raised in England, and the other teams were scrambling to beef up their lineup. But he’s gone now, not to heaven but to a team in Italy which has recaptured trophies and recogntion during his arrival.

Now tonight, I predict a Chelsea victory. They’re playing at home and they have the most potent squad in England today. Sorry, United fans!
